This is a 1964 film made by the English rock band The Beatles. It was the first film directed by the Beatles and the film was released with an album of the same name. The film was then a great popularizer of rock stars. Inspired by Elvis Presley, the Beatles saw the movie one more way to promote your music. The film was released on July 6, 1964 and was nominated for two Academy Awards cinema, the Oscar.The film was shot in black and white. The United Artists chose producer Walter Shenson for the film. He recommended the director Richard Lester and the Beatles indicated the name of Alun Owen Writing. Owen was Liverpool, as well as the Beatles, and had already made some scripts for television.
Participants besides the Beatles film some actors, among them: Wilfrid Brambell (who played the grandfather of Paul McCartney), Norman Rossington, John Junkin, Lionel Blair, Victor Spinetti, John and Derek Nimmo Bluthal. Pattie Boyd, model and actress, made a cameo. It was during filming that George Harrison met. They eventually married in 1966.

The film begins on a train journey and ends on a show especially made for television. The Beatles play some of his songs for the film were released on an album with the same name.
