LOVE is a Cirque du Soleil has a soundtrack of Beatles songs. The songs were remixed and resmasterizadas by producer George Martin, known as the fifth Beatle, and his son Giles.
Lovers of sports car racing, George Harrison and Guy Laliberté, founder and owner of Cirque du Soleil, became great friends. George then planned a show in partnership with a group of circus arts. With his death in November 2001, the project has been temporarily suspended. Later, after extensive negotiations between the parties involved, Guy Laliberté handed the task of creating a show based on Beatles songs to one of its directors and choreographers, Dominic Champagne. The show would have the name "The Beatles: Love". It remained to create a soundtrack with songs from the quartet. The choice fell on a mission to George Martin, who had worked as Beatles producer on most of his creations. To assemble this sound mix, George Martin called his son Giles Martin to assist you in the task. With eighty years of age, the producer George Martin stated that only now feels that his mission was fulfilled, saying he will retire "early."
The Beatles LOVE 'was enthusiastically endorsed by Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, the only living members of the Liverpool quartet, along with Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison, the heirs of the two deceased (John Lennon and George Harrison).
The show premiered in Las Vegas in honky tonk Mirage hotel on June 30, 2006. In it were present Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono, Cynthia Lennon, Julian Lennon, Olivia Harrison, Dhani Harrison and George Martin. It was the largest gathering of the family since the end of the Beatles group. Since then he is playing, always a full house.
The songs that cover different phases of the quartet were extracted from various masters tapes of The Beatles. Among the successes are chosen All You Need Is Love, I Want To Hold Your Hand, Help, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds and Come Together.
For the production of the album (which was also released on DVD audio system with Dolby Digital 5.1) were used the most advanced technologies, techniques of collage and overlapping, "merging" several excerpts from some of the music of the quartet, which resulted in a different sound, recreating them.
